
In answer to your earlier question, I live in a housing association flat on a hill on the outskirts of Ipswich.
The view is what keeps me there. The countryside around Belstead is beautiful, especially at sunset.
The disadvantage is you get some fresh neighbours. A couple of years ago I had a crackhead and his
insane dealer "friend" in the flat below battering the crap out of him and hurling furniture around over
9 months. The noise was excruciating but the police didn't do anything until a little girl on the ground floor
found a crack pipe and brought it back to her mum. The flat was boarded up for 3 months and mercifully he
moved out shortly after that. Swings and roundabouts. :)
