# Is this wrong speeling day today?
I couldn't work out how Spot managed to have kittins when we never saw any other cats on the Enterprise and Data had no catflap on the door of his quarters....

# That is a good question.
It wasn't me otherwise I would be considerably richer than I currently am.
I think it was Lord Catflap.
not related to the Catflap of Filthy Rich and Catflap fame mind you.

# I'm sure the Chinese government will announce in the near future that they have discovered evidence that it was invented in China.
They invented it, but then chose not to use it or make any mention of it in their literature or even to remember that they invented it until just a minute ago. Honest.

# Oh, right. I just assumed that his name was "Lor" and not "Lore". I guess I'm not nerdy enough to know that :)
Talking of nerdy, there is a whole section of the Data wikipedia page on Spot:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_(Star_Trek)#Spot

which includes such vital info as :

"Despite the name, Spot is not actually patterned with spots. Spot originally appears as a male Somali cat, but later appears as a female orange tabby house cat,"

THANK YOU WIKIPEDIA! WHY NOT SPEND SOME TIME ON REAL TOPICS, IN THE REAL WORLD?

# My comment wasn't directed totally at you :)
I saw this after the wrong spellings on the "I fough the law" images and wondered if I had missed an edict declaring today a speshul speeling day. I am always amazed at the breadth of knowledge on Wikipedia. I'm orf to look see if there is any kittin explanation there.
