The problem deleted pics and videos on wifes S5 galaxy
any one got any ideas on what software to use to try and recover some or all of the lost data on the sd card?
Data on the S5 is going to be a damn sight harder to recover from what i have read so far, it involves making a VHD of the internal memmory to try and get it back that way, the Sd card is more straight forward but its been so many years since i last had to do this that i havnt got perv in a nudeists camps chance of getting it right.
Oh did i say i havnt got much time? i am looking at total melt down and screamy teary scenes at 14:30 when she gets back and no sex either and maybe even no hobnobs with my coffee either
I was trying to find some images of me and wife together and now its all gone tits up you can Gaz me if you prefer to not clog the thread with advice
thanks in advance

I think you're potentially in trouble then
I'd go with the "Be kind, rewind" approach and quickly re-stage all the best photos and videos you can remember, using your friends as stand-ins for the originals ...and get it all done before your wife gets home.

I can do it.
You will have to post the phone to me.
Not a joke post, get it to me by the morning I'll have it in the same days post so you get it the following morning.

You probably know that, but I wouldn't touch the sd/memory at all, to not overwrite anything.

First thing i did
was to remove the SD card to avoid any further overwrites and subsecunt difficulties that might arise from leaving it in.

I have used "Recuva" for a similar job
It's a free download and worked well with me, assuming that you have an SD-card reader on your PC/Laptop.
I don't know whether there are better options but that worked for me when pics deleted from a camera SD card by mistake.
