In Wales, what's the worst that could happen. Maybe a "Get orf moi land." Probably think he's after buggering one of their sheep (I hear it happens a lot in that part of the world.)

had some big plan to build retirement homes in Turkey for english people, that lost him a bit of money, based on the assumption, well-off the mark in hindsight, that Turkey would join the EU at some point. It seemed a bit more likely in 2002, I guess.
