This is a link post Guy attempts to walk accross Wales in a straight line NSFW
enjoyable one-man mission with all the ups and downs of all what you'd expect from such an insane challenge. Part 2 was uploaded yesterday. Had to flag NSFW for swears

This is a normal post I've been watching this too.
More of this kind of stuff. An admirable venture. Pointless, uncomfortable, difficult but not impossible. Genuine type 2 fun.
What I refer to as a 'sheep safari' after the Gobi crossing section of Gurdjieff's Meetings with remarkable men.

This is a normal post Just the kind of first world silliness I'd like to do.
It's nice to know there are other silly people on the planet.

Man, scared of farmers, crosses a bridge and walks for a bit.
Astonishing.

This is a normal post He did seem to be a bit too scared of farmers
In Wales, what's the worst that could happen. Maybe a "Get orf moi land." Probably think he's after buggering one of their sheep (I hear it happens a lot in that part of the world.)

Would be genuinely interested to see this experiment conducted across various US states, I wonder how much buckshot you'd pick up.

This is a normal post I worked with a bloke who drove from England to Tehran in an electric milk float, where he traded it for some iranian equivalent of a diplomats car and drove home
He didn't write a book, have a blog, or raise money for charity, or seek any publicity, it was just something he felt like doing and did

This is a normal post Was he smuggling anything into Iran
so had to pretend it's just a normal milk delivery?

Actually, did you see any proof he did this?

This is a normal post yeah, he had some photos. Was an odd bloke, a good programmer
had some big plan to build retirement homes in Turkey for english people, that lost him a bit of money, based on the assumption, well-off the mark in hindsight, that Turkey would join the EU at some point. It seemed a bit more likely in 2002, I guess.
