I recently bought a T-ring adapter that means I can put my old DSLR camera on the telescope. Fairly easy, and the adapter was only £10 off eBay. Loads of tutorials on YouTube, and for pics of stars there is free stacking software that gets surprisingly good results with just a 50 mm lens and a tripod.

Nice. I've got a Tasco telescope from Argos sat somewhere in my parents loft. Haven't had any use out of it since moving to London, but it's definitely planned to get more use if we move back out somewhere with darker skies again.

It clips right in front of the sensor, works well in heavy light pollution. The downside is you'll need a longer exposure time, higher ISO or make use of stacking to get some decent pics.

Didn't even know those were a thing. I thought you had to modify the camera and I'll be damned if I was going to do that.
