This is a normal post It's all fine and dandy with their special effects and CGI
so why do they persist with a faux cutesy hand-cranked puppet in a bucket?

This is a normal post It's a bit more than that
it is actually a robot that can walk n stuff.

They spent $500,000 building it.

Those scenes where it walks about, that is the same robot.

Could still have done better with $50,000 of special effects though.
