This is a normal post Not unexpected.
So depressing. Even more depressing is that nothing will be done about it.

This is a normal post That's unfair, the spivs and racketeers charged extortionate prices and exploited the situation but you did at least end up with something

This is a normal post I suspect it would have been much the same outcome under Labour.

This is a normal post Why do you suspect that?
Has your cynicism made you stupid or has your stupidity made you cynical?

This is a normal post I know some people in a healthcare products company
who have been in the business for ages. They offered the government PPE from their stock and were ignored for ages. Then they were approached by someone who said that for an upfront fee would ensure that their offer was successful. This was par for the course of how things were and are done. Competent well-established companies were ignored in favour of spiv operations introduced by mates, MPs, Gove and Patel among others.

This is a normal post I think I'll wait and see on this one
Never assign to malice that which can be explained by incompetence. The government was clueless and sprayed money around in a panic. Some people undeservedly got some and I believe HMRC and others are having a good look at some of the payments.

The Good Law Project also seems to have a habit of losing or dropping cases. The one they put up against Kate Bingham was quietly dropped. I'll have more confidence in this bunch when people start actually appearing in court instead of videos on Twitter.

This is a normal post I agree 100%
much as I think this government is a disaster for the UK, I see nothing but propaganda here. Spin presented as fact.

This is a normal post I'm not saying you're wrong
I think you've got a good point but as far as The Good Law project losing cases, that's not an issue. They gather evidence, present cases and some are strong enough to go before a judge and some have won. Even if they've got a very small success rate the bar for prosecution's pretty high and shining a light on incompetence, corruption of that blurry line where they become one and the same is vital for the sake of of all of us.

I guess if you're spraying money around in a panic most of it'll go to the people you know best, your business connections, colleagues, donors etc. but that's still a corrupt process. Thoughtless, unplanned, random, incompetent corruption is still... corruption.
