This is a normal post I'd wager that the power unit for driving the car emits just as much CO2 and Methane as the power units propelling the bike.
Speshally as there are significantly more fat fucks driving cars than there are riding bikes.

This is a normal post I can smash this argument with the power of thermodynamics
Actually, can't be arsed because I'd have to explain Orders of magnitude first and then basic arithmetic's.

Lets do this simple:

1600kg of car with a fatty driving needs mucha more powa to go to 20mph than 80kg of cyclist going through red lights..

This is a normal post By 'power unit for driving the car', I meant the driver itself.
Not the 'power unit for propelling the car', which would be the engine.
The point I was making is that the morbidly obese fart machine behind the wheel probably emits just as much CO2 through the physical act of driving a car as a relatively fit person would emit cycling a bike at a moderate pace.

I'm glad you didn't waste all that time mansplaining, though.

This is a normal post And the point I was making
was not that cyclists put out more CO2 than cars, just that they put out some, in response to the claim that they don't put out any at all.

This is a normal post I love having a big fart when cycling and imagining that it is giving me a Knight Rider style turbo boost...

This is a normal post Who claimed that cyclists don't produce CO2?

This is a normal post brb - "bicycles don't burn dinosaur juice to threaten the existence of life on Earth?"
Simply being alive at the moment burns dinosaur juice, washing your hair with most shampoos, eating vegetarian food that is fed with oil derived fertiliser, having the lights on in your house etc

Because of this, the power unit for the cycle also burns some dinosaur juice to keep it working. Nowhere near as much of course, but some. No matter how 'green' you are.

Sure, some people grow their own food organically etc and so don't contribute much at all, but then some cars run off solar power. I suspect a similar proportion of the larger number for each.
