I'd call it criminally over-restored. I'd love to see their reaction if they had it valued.

This is a normal post value probably wasn't much in the first place
but I wish this channel and others would restore things to a usable condition without destroying all the evidence of their age

This is a normal post I think some of these "restorations" are fake.
I've seen a few with very suspiciously very "rusty" parts - to the extent that one of them had a model car that was rusty. Problem there was I know that particular brand very well and they are all made from aluminium. so... rust... righto...

I’ll try to remember to dig out a good example and post it later, but be warned that on the rare occasion he speaks he pronounces Nutella as Nootella. Maybe it’s a Canadian thing eh.
