This is a normal post I was a bit gobsmacked
when I saw a number of papers put a photo of her all smiley cuddly with that wife beating fuck. TT inspired a lot of women to move on from abusive relationships, but nope they still stick his photo on the front page like he wasn't an obstacle she overcame.

I don't know, without seeing the particular pieces you're talking about, but it's such a well-known part of her life that I'm sure it would be at least mentioned in the text.

This is a normal post I remember when Etta James died
and a former user of this place was going absolutely mental about the Daily Fail headline "At Last Singer Etta James Dies". Despite this being standard headline formatting, because she was a singer who sang a song called 'At Last', but he was seemingly convinced that they were jubilant that her death had finally happened. Very odd interpretation/reaction.
