This is a link post whitneys music box
find myself not really knowing how to describe this page. It's beautiful. WARNING: It makes noise, and you'll need the sound to understand it.

It has this horizontal line, and these dots all drop from that line and move around in a big circle, with the outside one doing a loop in 3 minutes and the inside one going around loads more. Whenever the dots pass the line they make a noise like they're hitting the relevent note on a synth.

It's hypnotic. There's all kinds of synths and patterns there too.

Top job I'd say.

I've got that one in my favourites.

It's nice to see it again and it looks like they've added the hand-crank version since I was there last.

I highly recommend getting stoned and watching variations on that site.

I love the way that patterns keep emerging, and the last few seconds in the build-up to the 3-minute mark is ace!

I'm gonna watch all of these :)
