Another fine anime is Cyber City Oedo 808, the UK version has one of the best soundtracks ever, not available on DVD sadly.

I remember waiting ages for this to come out on VHS
Got the special edition two tape box.
The story got a bit murdered in the dubbed version were lip syncing mattered more that accurate translation.
Get the books if you've never read them.
