Although this exact therapy doesn't really happen any more, there are still similar anti-gay treatments that end in pretty much the same way.

Also, it is my personal opinion that George Rekers is an odious self-loather who needs to just COME THE FUCK OUT.

same story over and over, yet we just don't ever seem to learn, you can ADD to a sexuality, you can consciously choose not to act upon it, and if you do you can choose how and where within the confines of your local laws, you may even successfully oppose your nature for long periods of time, but you cannot remove what you were born with anymore easily than you can saw off your own limbs and if you try it will eventually destroy your soul from within, and any and all of those proposing otherwise are almost always hiding the fact they have the same leanings and are simply protesting loudly enough to try and hide it from themselves as day by day they die a little inside, the louder and more actively against it they are, the bigger cock hungry queen they are inside!

The drugs council recently admitted that after decades of trying they've come to realise a 'war on drugs' cannot win because it is in our nature as human beings, it's been 2000 fucking years since they wrote the bible (honest) and they're still trying and failing to change people to fit it's ideals.
