Jabez Clegg?
Good grief. Couldn't they find somewhere with better catering facilities?
The Didsbury Lawn Bowls club has a charming tearoom and a lawn for a marquee.

I've been to some good gigs and private parties at JC over the years...
including Venetian Snares and seeing a friend support Whitehouse.
But I'm sure the regular club nights there are pretty horrendous.

Whitehouse? "My Cock is on Fire" Whitehouse!?
Oof. There's a (loud) blast from the past.

Yep.
I've seen founding member William Bennett's current project, Cut Hands, twice in the last few months (once in Poland and once in Manchester a few weeks ago).
