Plan C - Call a decent PR company.
Plan B for some unknown reason has decided to let himself be photographed and published on the front page of a magazine wearing a Skrewdriver T-shirt.
Now I know I'm a spamming cunt for posting this with a link to my mates site but brianwhelan.net who first posted the story seems to be down. I'll correct the link when the site is back up.
Skrewdriver for those of you who haven't heard of them were a far-right neo nazi band. Their lead singer (Ian Stuart Donaldson) died in 1993 but he is still venerated by many on the far-right and a couple of the organisations he set up still linger around like an eggy fart. One of the organisations is called Blood and Honour.
Blood and Honour put gigs on around the world that attract the rabid Hitler worshipers, Holocaust deniers and the general violent psychopath who likes waving at seagulls. Put Blood and honour into google images and you will get a fair idea.
Now Plan B has a film to promote. Even without watching it I know it's going to be shite as it's a remake / "re-imagining of The godlike Sweeney. He also has a new album out next week.
Using the sweet smell of controversy to push a product and garner news headlines is an old trick and by writing this post I may be falling into the trap myself but I'm not so sure.
In 2005 and 2006 Plan B played a fair few Love Music Hate Racism gigs and he has always given off the impression of being fairly sussed when it comes to the far-right in the UK.
If he is using this as a publicity stunt it is going to backfire massively on him.
If he has been badly advised it's going to backfire on them and he really should know better.

He was their drummer before they went Nazi.

that it was started by Iain Duncan Smith in 1976, at which point he was enrolled in the Scots Guards who were serving in Northern Ireland, which makes it unlikely that he started a band in Poulton-Le-Fylde in Lancashire...

I find trying to proscribe political standpoints deeply suspect: it is essentially "thought police". Bring them into the light, so we can see what dicks they are. It worked for Nick Griffin when he got on the TV before the last election, he made himself look stupid and the BNP had a terrible result.
EDIT: I do accept that you have the right to think I'm a dick for saying this ;)

was where he said he would never sell out to get his music heard i.e. endorsements/or sponsorship... and then did all those things...
or the way he constantly glamourises a shitty existence.
