This is a normal post Ah, nuclear war porn...
I'm just burning Threads for a friend who is too young to remember the recurrent sensation of paranoia and pointlessness of existence we lived under at the time.
I paid a visit to Scotland's 'Secret' Bunker recently and picked up a copy of all the Protect and Survive shorts on DVD.
Now hoping to go to Ukraine to visit Chernobyl and an ex-Soviert ICBM launch site too.
Happy, happy, joy joy.

This is a normal post Gah, Threads
1) Kill line goes through house I grew up in.
2) At one point they talk to a "role", who in real life was next door neighbour.
3) Mums office gets blown up, with no mention of the "other office" below the basement.

This is a normal post Don't forget "On the Beach" 1959
About a submarine commander who's ship survives the initial explosions, only to go around the world trying to find people still alive. Although the constant 'Waltzing Maltida' soundtrack grates after a bit, it's got some good solid acting.
