This is a normal post Haha! They are bloody good though. strangely the first time I tried oak leaf I was living in Redland, picked the leaves in Leigh woods.
Even more wierdly they weren't buried in dead prostitutes, semen or condoms.

This is a normal post The younger and fresher the better for the leaves, you should be fine about now if you pick the fresh ones, but best in june.
I have a good recipe somewhere, I'll dig it out and gaz it to you.

Most mine are drunk within a few months of the yeast being added.

i'll use tea as a tannin provider though.
lapsang souchong is pretty good for adding a smoky taste.
