Had a close call the other month, and fortunately Patawayo just said "fair play" and that was it.
So I'd be a bit concerned about the officer clearly deliberately obstructing the car so he could continue to write the ticket.
That said, driving into him was dumb as, not just because it was dickish, but because I reckon that was what the cop was playing for, he went straight from ticket writing to assault on a police officer like he was going for it.

would be interesting if he would have been able to contest the ticket after the fact if he was able to show the officer deliberately obstructing him, but once he's up for assaulting a police officer the ticket is fairly small beer.

not only does he step in, but he takes another step to put his foot under the tyre, and then when he's saying the car is on his foot he manages to pull his foot out from under it.
I call shenanigans.

Did you see the documentary a while ago that followed the progress of a Nepalese immigrant from a lovely little charmer through getting a job as a parking attendant to his transformation into a cynical bitter bastard within a couple of days?
Patawayo is quite a neat shorthand for all that is wrong with the civil enforcement industry, including the exploitation of its workers.
