I believe it's titled "song Reader".

Edit: It's a bit nasty really, i play 16 instruments but i can't read music, how many of Beck's fans read music? I'm going to go ahead and call him a cunt on this one.

It's not out yet but people are managing to play what's been put in the press release and it's pretty good.

I like it. It's a bit Tom Waits, a bit Leonard Cohen, and a bit of The Stonecutter's Song from the Simpsons.
I think it's a really clever idea. I'm really interested to see how the music filters out into the world.
I had a go at playing the tune in my head (before listening to this version), but 'cos I couldn't see a sign for tempo, and also have inferior music-reading abilities, it sounded more like ska.

He also contributed some stuff to a rather lovely ps3 game called Sound Shapes. As you progress through the level you unlock the music/loops which you can then use on your own levels, making your own Beck, I am Robot and Proud and DeadMau5 tunes.

“when necessary, ukelele notation.”
Which I take to mean no ukulele notation at all?
