On telly tonight, BBC4, 9:10PM.

History of everything, from the dark ages to the 20th century, in 13 x 1 hour episodes.
Some say it's the best thing the BBC ever made. Others point out they "forgot" to mention women.

Offs, B3ta, please sort out short youtu.be links.
It's www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2lmlDp2WGg

The auto-preview is a bit wonky though. Click edit then untick the “don’t use auto preview” box, then save the post.
Getting YouTube shorts to embed is a bit more problematic.

Did that, doesn't seem to have worked. I'll make a manual image, I guess.

i.e. youtu.be/b2lmlDp2WGg
Academic really, given that you can’t embed that video anyway.

I tried, but it doesn't seem to let you edit the URL.
I tried editing the text at the same time; still didn't work - the link is the original one, with a ?si=rjMpch7qehY2INP7 on the end.
