I can see why people would be pissed off though, it's a fucking competetive market at the Fringe, if you've paid out all your money on posters to try and get the right crowd only to find your serious play is now expected to have knob gags (from the now hilarious poster) you'd be a bit crushed and financially fucked.

I don't think people would think the sticker has anything
to do with the poster, just vandalism.
The stickers are not actually defacing the posters to such an extent that they become unreadable. No one is not going to judge the show by the sticker, so there is no way Avalon could have possibly lost money as a result of this.
The fine from Edinburgh Council makes some sense, as they probably did spend something cleaning them up.
If anyone is taking money from the amateur productions, it is companies like Avalon for sending TV-known comedians with a decent marketing budget to compete with people going on their own backs.

Seems to harsh a fine
but the council will have budgeted for taking down posters at the end, not the taking down of stickers in the middle.
That said, as Kunt didn't personally put up the stickers, I don't see how he can have been fined for it, unless he is seen as some sort of Charles Manson figure getting other people to do his crimes for him.
