Congrats to all involved
My Dad loved the hospital food when he was in for several weeks. It did actually look eddible and you had a somewhat limited choice of different options.

Congratulations!
Nine and a half months ago we underwent a similar experience, except I wasn't allowed to eat my other half's dinner to blog about it. Not that I was willing to do so anyway as it looked just as unappetising.
I can tell you though that the canteen served a delicious chicken balti on our last day in.
