
Last time I looked the UK nearly had it going. They have a reactor that runs for more than a millisecond, produces more than it consumes. It should be used to bargain with the EU and US. That was a year, or so, ago.
What then? Fusion energy for all: Helium naturally leaves the earth's atmosphere, If we don't figure out fusion shortly, the helium will be gone, there are other ways to fill balloons and reactors.

By my view, it was finished a long time ago, and we should be seeing video of it racing now. The fact it isn't, to me, means they have no plans to ever finish it, just milk it for that sweet Patreon money as long as possible.
Maybe they decided to leave it in the garage until Patreon has covered the parts and labour costs+25%
