Although, in fairness, I enjoyed the final season far more than I expected to. Coming in with such low expectations probably helped a great deal with that, though.

I thought it was better than Season 7 (but then so's a swift kick in the nads).
However it just looked like they had no idea how to end it (or more likely knew what the ending should be but had no idea how to get there) and the final episode from when *mumble mumble* killed *cough* onward was just garbage.
