Valve's Source FilmMaker, used to make their Meet the Team videos and other promo stuff, has been released to beta. It's pretty great.

nice, does it do the lip sync for you?

It does a really good job with clean dialogue but I had to mess around with that one because of the background rain and music etc.

Record yourself reading the lines and use that for the lip sync then replace the soundtrack later.

Yeah, I thought of that. But I had already done a bit, and I was tired, and I kept getting the timing wrong.
Next time. That 88 seconds was a 12 hour learning curve. Never done anything like it before.

do you get an email or what?

I restarted Steam and got a popup saying I had it, so then I just clicked to install. I didn't get an email. Some people have said it just turned up in their games list.
