"‘Save-A-Cheese’ and help the stricken cheesemakers rebuild their lives and warehouses by buying Parmigiano-Reggiano (Parmesan) from the devastated artisan cheesemakers in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy hit by 2 earthquakes in a short space of time on the 20th & 29th May 2012."

Cuz I love cheese, and this looks awesome. I'm not sure how long it would take me to get through 1k of cheese though...

But no, it's just me suggesting something I saw that appears to be a great idea to a bunch of what I assume to be cheese lovers. Some maybe aren't but they definitely are ham-touchers.

Also, after being in an earthquake won't it be terribly dusty?

I did wonder about insurance but I would assume a general situation of under-insurance given the nature of the industry globally. Also probably something about Mafia, but mostly something about really jolly good value cheese. A little bit of dust never killed someone. 5 second rule or something.

£10 a kilo should get you 24 month Parmesan. Add on shipping, yadda yadda and "good value" should be running at about £15.

Seems to be about half the price the Welsh guy is asking.

I, however, am drunk. I will now buy cheese off you. How much for a gallon of cheese?

Can I go to my Japanese suppliers (Bukake Bros.) to help make up the order?

*may be referring to last week's QOTW for assistance*
