I did hear over the weekend a fair amount of tongue wagging on the national level as how the president's party could support him and his call to return soldiers to Iraq so soon after leaving. They seemed to be afraid of legitimizing the earlier stage and offending their anti-war constituents. One of them, quite liberal, said something very similar to Arkansas Chuck there, but he left out nukes and favored carpet bombing.
