Annoying Partners
As a recent divorcee, it would be churlish to reveal what annoys me the most about my ex, apart from that unfortunate business with the crinkle-cut beetroot which tipped us over the edge. So, what winds you up about your significant other? If you have no partner, tell us about workmates. If you have no workmates, improvise with an annoying tramp

short on time, long on annoyance
once ended a 7-week relationship with a bloke because if i heard him use the phrase "in more ways than one!" out of context one more fucking time, i would have killed him.

How the hell do you use that out of context?
I used to get annoyed with an ex who used 'let alone' wrongly. She'd say things like 'they shouldn't have scored 10, let alone 20' and for some reason that drives me insane. It HAS to be the easiest/lesser thing that comes first in that sentence.
edit: I mean she'd say 'they shouldn't have scored 20, let alone 10'. Apparently I hate it so much that my subconcious prevented me typing it incorrectly.

he'd say something like
"i'm going to the shops, in more ways than one".

nah, we've been best mates since we were 7
she has lots of better qualities.
it's just this and the fact that she operates on her own time zone, some 90 mins behind the rest of us that could justify killing her!
