I'm with you on this......I interviewed him earlier this year when he was speaking at the Darwin festival at Cambridge. Despite his very busy schedule, he gave me a wonderful interview and carried on chatting for a good while. He asked interesting and insightful questions about my work and didn't bat an eyelid when I went all fanboy and asked him to sign some books for me and my dad.
A truly great man and a personal hero.
