I have been veggie for over 20 years,
However, I still have very fond memories of my mum's liver and bacon supper. Yum yum.

I'm wondering..
If that was pig or cow liver, in which case I'm with you all the way. However, my Mum used to cook with lamb's liver, always with bacon and mash, was lovely..

I'm not actually sure
It was served to me a greasy spoon cafe with the rest of my fry up. So I would hazard guessing whatever the cheapest liver is.
