Cheesy Beanos
I think this might be called something else but onboard the ships i sailed on it was Cheesy Beanos.

You had them for starters most days, dinner and lunchtime.

Its just a slice of toast covered in beans and cheese melted on top to seal them in. Delicious!

Other variation I liked was corned beef between the beans and cheese.... fuck it im having this for tea tonight :-D

You live the life of a shut in medieval serf
It might be time to broaden your horizons beyond 'Cheesy Beanos' and cardboard soaked in water for afters.

i was at a medieval event yesterday
and the red knight assured me the peasants did not have mexican chilli cheese

They sound good
I'll have to give them a try. Something along a similar line you might want to try:-

1. Cut a tin of corned beef into cubes and put into an ovenproof dish
2. Cut up an onion and throw it onto the beef
3. Cover everything with beans
4. Cover that lot with mashed potatoes
5. Grated cheddar on the top and bake until browned

Eat. Looks bad; tastes wonderful.

asda used to it in a quick meal type thing, it was amazing!

didnt have beans in though, its a good addition!

slopped a bit :-/ presentation is everything!

used mexican chilli cheese as well, very tasty!

Also made more tastier cos my opener died and i had to punch and rip the tin open with a screwdriver....

i'm sorry, your massive excitement over beans on toast with cheese must have misled me.
