Despite the fact I work on a windows box...

Religious wars
Of all the pointless religious wars - which is the one true language/indent/brace style - the most pointless of all is the eternal vi v emacs debate.
For Turing's sake, get over it. It's like arguing over which is the better car, the Ford Anglia or the Vauxhall Viva.
