This is a question Bizarre leaps of logic

Amorous Badger says: "I once humorously suggested that someone had been internet-stalking a Big Brother contestant. They concluded that I was threatening them. What's the oddest misunderstanding you've been involved in?"

Binmen
When I was but a young Bearcat I wanted to be a Binman (refuse collector to those across the pond).

I reasoned that they only worked one day a week leaving me plenty of time to do more fun things.

Remember to put your bins out.
On the relevant day.

At this point I should warn people to "stay about my bins"

hey should be staying about FROM them, not just about them. That's exactly what you don't want.
There's your QOTW contribution, right there.

I got sick of all the stinking rubbish sitting around for two weeks
and not being able to just throw stuff the fuck away without have to do manual labour, picking through and separating the refuse like an african child on a Kenyan rubbish dump.

So I signed up to a private service where they give you a big yellow bin and you chuck everything in it, like the good old days.
