This is a question Bullshit and Bullshitters

We've had questions about lies and liars in the past, but this time we're asking about the sort of fantasist who constantly claims they've got a helicopter in the garden or was "second onto the balcony at the Iranian Embassy siege". Tell us about the cobblers you've been told, or the complete lies you've come out with.

Thanks to dozer for the suggestion

Kwik-fit
Your car could be in flames and those fuckers would still trot out the line:

"Yeah your brake discs are corroded so we recommend replacing the whole lot. And pads. Oh and you need a new exhaust."

Lying scum.

the new 'brake discs need doing' for me is 'handbrake pad siezed which neccessitates the whole rear caliper doing'
I've been too lazy to check these things before I take it in for an MOT so I can't show pictures beforehand showing they don't need doing. All of a sudden it's not an £80 job, its a £480 job.

This really happened to a vehicle of mine...
...and it did burst into flames!! Opposite a Kwik-Fit. We had it recovered to a different garage...

Ah, the delights of Kwik Fit in Collindale.
The day when I asked for the old brake disks from my rather lovely* Vauxhall Carlton and was handed a single badly rusted disk that clearly said "FORD" on the hub.

Quizzing the manager with my best "you don't expect me to beleive this crap" face got the wonderful reply "No wonder they needed replacing then."

Complaint to head office, who said they'd "look into it".
Never recived the demanded refund but two months later the place is closed down. Not sure if that's a win...

*For certain values of lovely
