Racisim can be joked about, it just has to be funny.
Blazing Saddles is a great example. Jim Davidson and Bernard Manning were never funny IMO, it had nothing to do with their subject matter, though. I still piss myself at Frankie Boyle.

Absolutely
Making jokes about the issues of Racism was what made Blazing Saddles so funny, but not once did it actually become racist.

Davidson though is not only a racist, he is bigoted in many varied ways, just ask any of the disabled people who have been to his gigs!
