It's an unanswerable question though.Unless you've been on both sides I suppose.
I usually just say that I'm happy to be a moral person who tries to help others and don't feel that I have a void or something missing that I need religion to fill. Whether it be a comfort, sense of purpose/belonging or a moral guide.
