Hyperbole
Nowt wrong with that. Or are you going to slate Shakespeare for having a character say, "A horse! My kingdom for a horse!"? Do we all have to say exactly what we mean, in as rational language as possible? Good for computer programmers, bad for anyone with a love of language.
