It is nu-cle-arIt refers to reactions which occur between one atomic nucleus and another atomic nucleus. A Nu-Cle-Us, is not pronounced Nu-Clus, and consequently reactions pertaining to these are not Nu-Clear reactions, they are Nu-Cle-Er reactions.
