Should of
"I should of gone to the pub."
NO NO NO - it's:
"I should have gone to the pub"
I blame the apostophe for that - "should've" sounds like "should of"

Ever read any Terry Pratchett?
Despite his being a contender with J. K. Rowling for World's Most Popular Author and thus, one might assume, more than casually acquainted with grammar and syntax, his books are riddled with "should of" instead of "should have".
