I am with you on this one, totally.
Although it does mean when people ask you to sponsor them for a marathon, you can point out they are not called that anymore, therefore you can't give them any money unless they ask you to sponsor them for a snicker, and change all the paperwork too.

If I go into a supermarket and ask for some Jif and them am told that actually it's Cif now, does that also mark me out as being a dickhead?
