Believe it or not...
Little Miss Airhead used that one on me just this morning. She's been shopping and was happily telling everyone how she'd 'brought' some shoes. She was completely baffled when I asked where they were then. I tried to explain that brought is the past tense for 'bring' not 'buy', hence the 'r' at the beginning but gave up when she asked why bought didn't have a 'y' in it too to make it 'easier to understand'. Why are these people allowed out alone?
