I think it's because
the sort of person to use this phrase often can't use the term MILF (ignoring my feelings on this phrase as that's a different matter entirely) to their audience, without having to explain the acronym and having them find it offensive.

"Yummy mummy"
is a synonym for MILF so that they can get the concept across without having to use or allude to "fuck" which would apparently be wrong.
Vaguely like that old postcard showing a tent with an elephant sticking his trunk in at one end, and a startled woman's head sticking out the other. "Ha ha! You know what THAT means, don't you?"
