Using pronouns for nouns
My mom would yell at me telling me to get that "thing" and such. Then I'm there just here thinking, "What the hell does she want me to do?" and then she gets mad at me for asking what does she mean.

I still find it incredible that
nearly everything that you're looking for will be "on the side"

"Where are my car keys?"
"In the kitchen/dining room/lounge/library/billiard room/pantry/master bedroom/orangery on the side"

"Thing" is not a pronoun.
Words like "he" and "she" and "it" and "me" and "you" are pronouns.

'Thing' is a noun...

"That thing"
Is also something that Mrs Biscuit uses more often than not, and it pisses me off when she can't be bothered to search through her vocabulary to come up with saying a word for what she's referring to is actually called. Especially when she's being ambiguous. Grrrh!

Can I slash my wrists yet?
