In Australia we have a 'Labor Party'.
Illiterates. It's clearly spelled 'Conservative'.

I live there too
and have always considered that the comparison between Liberal and Labor would be.....same shit, served on a different plate.They are both tax hungry pigs, who literally could not organize a root in a brothel, all the while pandering to whining minority groups.
Surely we can come up with a better alternative.

The greatest irony in Australian political life ...
is that the right wing conservatives are called the Liberals. How precisely does that work out? Or is that like calling a red haired chap 'Blue'?

My politics lecturer said
that the conservative side of politics was at a very low point, and the Liberal Party was so-called to advertise that it was moderate rather than conservative.
