There seems to be a new wave of air freshener adverts.
The one with the woman who talks with her friends about the pieces of rock she brought back from various holidays really annoys me. If you know the one, you'll know why!

i hate that one!
why the fuck would your mates be excited by bits of foreign stone? surely they'd be expecting you to have brought home some decent booze instead. not to mention the fact that anyone who can't tell the difference between a rock AND A PIECE OF FUCKING ROCK-SHAPED PLASTIC WITH A HOLE IN THE TOP FOR THE AIR FRESHENER TO COME OUT is clearly too stupid to be able to fill out a passport application

the worst thing is ... i live with people who are genuinely excited by these things
we are students and we have wipes for the surfaces. when i said 'erm, why not use the sponge?' the best they could come up with was 'its too dirty'

too dirty for the sides but not for the dishes?

its just a lifestyle thing. we probably will end up with one of those air fresheners soon.

i tend to just open the windows for a while
and let some fresh air in, that usually does the trick
