I assume it stillneeds to be airy in case your eyeballs boil. Or, if the wisdom of my mate's dad is nything to go by (see the stupidity QOTW) you'd drift up to the ceiling with no air in the room.

i feel the need to point out the error of your ways.just because a space is not 'airy' does not neccessarily mean ones eye balls would boil. Presumably your assumption is that a lack of air would indicate a vacuum in the room. However, the room could be light and nitrogeney, or light and freoney, or light and heliumey.
Complete lack of air, boiling eyeballs and floating dads. Although if it was light and mercuryey we could still do the floating dad. (do as in accomodate the presence of as opposed to furiously sex-amify)
