Marketing bollocks, buzzword bingo, or your mum saying "fudge" when she really wants to swear like a trooper. Let's ride the hockey stick curve of this top hat product, solutioneers.
Thanks to simbosan for the idea

If it's good enough for Susie Dent...
...it's good enough for me...
I asked her about 'could care less' (I am THAT sad). And, paraphrasing, she said English is a democratic language and one of her bug bears is people that stick rigidly to old rules and don't accept that. 'Could care less' has been used for a long time and probably comes from a form of sarcasm, (Imagine it being said by Wayne from Wayne's World - "I Could care less...NOT!"). It's properly acceptable and understandable in its meaning.
And you never argue with Susie...

I argued with Susie and she backed down.
But I agree with you. You may like to read my previous posts on the matter, if you have nothing left to live for and think life is but an unremitting, meaningless march towards death.

I'm still not convinced
I think this is what happens when Americans try sarcasm

Shermans are great at sarcasm and irony. See Bill Hicks, Bill Murray for details.

I maintain that Bill Hicks wasn't really American.
He can't have been, to be that smart and funny. His entire folksy Texan accent schtick was a gimmick.

Hahaha casual anti-Americanism FTW.
In other news, the Brits are all homosexual and have terrible teeth.

There's nothing casual about my anti-Americanism.
I wear black tie for it.

What the fuck has democracy got to do with it?
And: I saw the lovely Susie on the telly the other day for the first time in years. She's not aged at all over the past decade.
Creepy. Gorgeous, but creepy.
