I spent a couple of hours chatting about music with a random American in the Ship in Wardour StOnly to discover much later that he was Taylor Hawkins from out of the Foo Fighters. Top bloke, great taste in bands.

He was amazingIt's only by chance that during our discussion of great bands I didn't mention the Foo Fighters, which would have revealed that I didn't actually know who he was.
