I once stood next to Ian Beale out of EastEnders in the gents' toilets at the BBC. BEAT THAT. I was referring specifically to the TCP/IP suite, initially developed by (D)ARPA, and thus bankrolled by the DoD. I wasn't saying Sir Tim Berners-Lee is some shadowy US super-secret ninja (although unofficially, he definitely is). In any case, I use the cool internet for cool people.
