The French House is terrific. Excellent Cidre Breton. I used to have an office further up Dean Street, so used to go there quite often.
Surprised nobody has mentioned Gordon's Wine Bar on Villiers St yet this week - used to get all sorts in there. See also The Colony Rooms (sadly gone & much missed).

No one should mention Gordon's. It is famous, the clientele are merely patrons.Gordon's is for meeting your paramour or for drunken jolly japes away from the baying retards.
